As i've gotten older and the kids have gotten older, my tastes and interests seem to have come back in a circle to me. While I have done light story telling with my brother over the last 5 years, and worked on different maps on paper, I've stayed away from doing more artwork on my computer/laptop. Now that the demands of life and parent shift and change, I have found myself in possession of a decent computer set up. This will allow me to make some more fractal art, map doodles (both by hand with the aid of some computer software). I will also be working on some more stories and characters for randomly generated maps, and maybe see if that get the juices going for me as well. So with this change, I have decided that reopened my page for submissions and reactivating my tumblr would be in my best interests at the moment. I am most excited to see that my posts are still liked and shared around deviant art and beyond. Hopefully i can make some more art and have that be enjoyed as well.

It has been a long year and a half for my wife and I. Her grandma died in February of 2014 and unexpectedly my dad passed in June of 2014, shortly thereafter, my wife and I got the great news that she was Pregnant with our baby daughter. Eliana (pronounced Elle-Anna) was born to us on June 16th a very healthy baby, although she was two weeks late. Life has been busy and interesting the last 3 months or so, so many things we have learned about her and so many things that she has learned about us and the outside world. long story short, so many things have changed in the last year it's not even funny. Well maybe if I think about it it is. But this is just a place holder journal until I can come up with a better one in the next few days.
